UK hairdressing franchise Rush is looking to ramp up growth after its co-founder and chairman Andy Phouli scooped the title of British Hairdressing Director of the Year at the HJ British Hairdressing Awards this week.

The hairdressing chain, started by Phouli and business partner Stell in 1994, now has 70 salons across the country and it hopes to capitalise on the award to “push it to over 100 salons in the next six to eight months”.

Rush franchisees receive in-house training, ongoing communication with management, and also get recongition at its annual award ceremony – the Rush Oscars.

The brand is currently looking for driven, creative and business minded individuals with a minimum of £15,000 to invest to join as franchisees but says the franchise process can be competitive as it receives over 100 franchise applications each month.

Phouli commented:“I am blessed, I can’t tell you how blessed I am. It is truly mind blowing. These awards are what gave me the drive to grow Rush to a nationwide brand.”
